woodstock

woodstock

i walked in the rain
my blanket i shared with my gain
me and this lovely girl
peace music ... and love

three days passed and there was peace
we put flowers in the barrel of a gun
flying fighters turned into doves
72 hours and there never was a quarrel

we had heard our new anthem
the voodoo chile playing the banner
everybody doing their thing
400 000 meditating

we kissed in the pool
flesh touching warm flesh
we slept under a blanket of stars
never had we met before
never again
