                          Fawn pebbles
                      rippling streams

       A grey stone
                                           the muddy

These are fond memories of youth.

Stones clank
Against armoured army trucks
Rocks dent
Soft-skinned police vans

Now these are the weapons
We exchange
For a bullet
Through the head
