Winter
waits, poorly dressed,
For
the sun of your body
Alone
in the loneliness of this world
I
venture through untrampled bush
Through
dark waters
Through
familiar ground
Unfamiliar
with each new touch
Each
new taste of the body
Each
nuance of the eyes
Clear
laughter of the mouth.
It
is hard
This
attempt at gentleness.
But
the fresh rain of your words
Flower
the weeds and the blossoms,
The
leather mask falls
And
I love you.
